Since 2005, HousingLink has been involved in a data collection and reporting process for sheriffs' sale auctions (foreclosures) for the state of Minnesota.
With support from members of the Minnesota Foreclosure Partners Council and cooperation by county sheriff departments, HousingLink continues to track this critical measurement of that point in time at which a mortgagor loses their home to foreclosure.
HousingLink's ability to deliver regular, quarterly reports has contributed to ongoing policy discussion and influenced public response to this crisis.
